Capital Program Management provided construction management services to BREC Development as part of their multi-million dollar renovation to the 392 unit Grand Highland’s luxury apartment community. CPM’s services to the Client included existing program refinement, scope review, scheduling, quality control, contract negotiation, and overall construction management.

Grand Highlands Apartment project included interior renovations such as new cabinetry, granite counters, light fixtures, hardware, interior doors, flooring, paint, and appliances. Exterior scope work involved replacing windows in all units, exterior siding paint, steel railing replacement, metal roofing, fencing/gate/access controls, pool deck pavers, and parking lot resurfacing.

The program was managed utilizing the CM Multi-prime method with direct owner managed prime contracts. The project was complex with a fast pace schedule and delicate working conditions as most renovations occurred in occupied units. Organization, thoughtful planning, attention to detail and effective collaboration with property management ensured a successful project in the end.
