Capital Program Management provided program and owner representation services to the Episcopal Church of the Ascension through numerous capital improvement projects.

Great Hall Leak Investigation / Remediation:  This project consisted of investigating a long term leak in the Church’s Great Hall area. CPM studied the issue, tested its theories through non-destructive and destructive testing, and recommended remedies to solve the problems.

Church Kitchen Renovation: The Church engaged CPM to study the prospects of renovating its current kitchen into a more functional commercial kitchen. CPM conducted a due diligence study to determine feasibility, conceptual designs, and estimated costs of the project. CPM then helped the church to communicate the finding through a fundraising campaign.

After a successful fundraising campaign, CPM engaged and managed design and construction firms for production of the construction documents and development of the project. The project was delivered utilizing design build engineering and building trades. CPM efficiently managed a turn-key kitchen program which gave the church a new commercial kitchen to meet the needs of their growing ministries.

New Roof at Classroom Wing While performing work on campus, CPM also assisted the church with a roof resolution for the Classroom Building. After much research and work to find a creative solution, the 5,400 SF flat roof on the classroom wing of the church campus was replaced with a cost effective, energy efficient superior roof system. Execution of the new roof system went well and caused no interruption to the operations of the church.
